There is a long history of churches in the area. With the decline of active church goers in the Village, many parishes are either part-time or combined with others in the area. Recently the Museum received a grant to restore the St. Alban's Anglican church as a museum site. The work on St Alban's has been done and the Ribbon Cutting ceremony will take place on Sunday, Oct 2 at 2 PM. The museum committee should be commended on such good work in restoring this precious heritage building.
